Carter’s Valley is in the northwestern part of the city along the Virginia state line and adjacent to the Lynn Garden neighborhood. Named for the musical Carter family, and not far from the Carter Fold (their home in Hiltons, Virginia), Carter’s Valley consists of ranch style homes on large lots (an acre or more) and small apartment complexes. Carter’s Valley residents enjoy lots of green space and magnificent views of the Smoky Mountains.
